The Soul is our mind and our emotions, before we came to Christ our Spirit was dead and our Soul controlled our actions. When we receive Christ into our lives our Spirit comes alive! When we come to Christ we have to let Him take charge and submit to Him. This means, by giving everything and all situations and circumstances over to Him fully, not partially or reluctantly. When we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior we are cleansed of our Sins. 2 Corinthians Ch.1 v.10 He who rescued us from so deadly a peril will continue to rescue us; on Him we have set our hope that He will rescue us again. We have been delivered and He delivered us through Sanctification. He has perfected us forever; our Salvation is secured in Jesus Christ. Galatians CH.5 v.17 From now on, let no one make trouble for me; for I carry the marks of Jesus branded on my body.
Flesh vs. Spirit One is always pulling against the other. Flesh is our Emotions, or Desires, and our Will. Our Spirit is to be a forgiving person, to live by the Spirit, to walk in the Spirit and to have our eyes fixed on Jesus at all times. When we walk in the Spirit we hear God’s voice and to hear God’s voice we nave to listen to the Holy Spirit by having Intimacy and Fellowship with Him. Intimacy with Jesus, by spending time with Him.
